We revisited some the old video recordings to bring some new footage from past times. Needed to cut up videos to make them more current and appealing.
Tasha Hype, one of my favorite models as you can see has a much better edit above. The first video was kinda corny so I had the team do a re-blend. A sneakers & heels kinda girl, she is really into the kicks, no fronts needed.
What is Tasha ethnicity wise? Girly girl is mixed to answer the question of many. If not mistaken, she’s like a mix of Jamaican, Native, and like Rican descent? Don’t quote me there… i can’t remember 100%. To sum it up, black latina
Peaches, sexy , sexy! She’s got to be one the most popular models in New York sneaker culture had one of the most watched videos on-line by us but we took it down b/c the site that was supposed to pay us did not. So luckily, YouTube was willing to publish oour joint in an affiliation.
What is Peaches ethnicity? She’s Guatemalan! real talk, is t his your first time seeing a real Guatemalan? Good first experience right? Wisdom! lol
Kanye West may not be loving his significant other the way he wants, but he’s got to be loving the Nike shoes he wears today. Nike and Kanye West have worked togethor to produce a new shoe collection entitled the “Nike Air Yeezys” which has already stirred quite a hype. A new style of sneaker, the Louis Vuitton Don is going to be the face behind the biggest non-athlete endorsed sneaker in Nike history.
“Its going to happen. This sneaker is going to be huge. Everyone will want it. Jay-Z did it huge with Reebok and Kanye West will lateral or surpass that success. The Nike Air Yeezys is a crazy design with a premium make, style and comfort. Owning Nike Air Yeezys on-line, I keep up with Wests moves and recently touched with Nike. From everything I understand, March 2009 is going to be owned by Nike and Kanye West,” says NikeAirYeezy.com owner Rodrick Rainey.

A couple years ago, who knew selling Hip-Hop clothing Street wear on-line could be a million dollar venture? You can ask Greg Selkoe, founder of Karmaloop Boston, Karmaloop.com, and Karmaloop TV, that exact question and he would probably answer the same as you; nobody. Today however, he would answer that different. The 33-year old fashion pioneer can tell you $40 million in one year is possible. Virally spreading across the Urban street wear market, Karmaloop street wear enterprises are expected to rake in $40 million USD by the end of 2008.
Starting Karmaloop.com in 1999, Selkoe was originally running his project from a run-down piano factory where he stored goods and had a group of approximately 20 people working with him. The real push for the street wear project did not come until Selkoe connected with real estate broker and business partner, Frank Celeste.

Here’s some nifty concept sunglasses from Nike which curve your field of vision, so you can actually (sort-of) see behind you! Normal field of view is 180°, but this extends that 25° on each side, giving you an effective 230° vision range. Useful for seeing that taxi that’s about to knock you over. Nike say:
“To get technical, high power, diverging Fresnel zones aligned vertically distort into view an extra 25º of view on either side. In doing this, vision is radically distorted in the periphery, but as the eye detects only motion in that area, little clarity is lost in the process.”
These beauties remain just a concept product. Sorry, but you won’t be getting your hands on them just yet, but in the future, who knows?
Nike Dunks were originally created for basketball in the 1980s. Making a more comfort-oriented sneaker for Skate boarders in 2002, Nike SB Dunks were released to test the growing inner-city skater audience. Two rather similar markets, built
from groups about expression and rebellion, the Nike SB Dunk sneaker conquered with a viral spread. Over Six years later, closing in on 2009, the Nike SB Dunk is officially the trendiest shoe in Sneaker Culture as well as Hip-Hop culture.
“Nike Dunks and SB took over. There is no sneaker by Nike, Reebok, or adidas that can really match the diversity and Hype behind Dunks right now. I wear my De La Soul, Send Help, and Gold Digger Nike SB shoes and now and they always
turn heads so i love them. Even chicks ask about my kicks, and that’s a great thing” says Rodrick Rainey, a media power of the Urban and Hip-Hop fashion industries.
Ranging in price from $60 for a nice pair of on-sale Nike SB Dunk Mids on sites like Moda3.com to $1500 for the Nike SB Dunk What The Dunk!? Lows on SkipToMyShoe.com, anyone can afford the fashionable Nike shoe. From a common general release to the exclusives found only in cities like London and Tokyo, the Nike SB brand aims to bring comfort, quality, and style with each release.

Defill and Milcke have collaborated to bring us Nike’s Made of Fruit. This is one of the craziest things I have ever seen! Talk about getting creative, and I thought I was cool because I was about to carve some AJ III’s in my pumpkin for halloween. The Air Max One and the Nike Dunk are the two versions of these fruit based shoes.

Chris Vidal, ex-flight club employee, and a true sneaker head from the jump, was featured on Spike TV.
I love the point he makes about how Sneaker Culture was birthed in Urban culture aka the streets. All you sneaker geeks on-line who are alwasy trying to talk like ‘anything’ was stolen from another culture, beware Hip-Hop culture started this. Hip-Hop fashion made sneaker culture. (more after jump)
