Stemming from creative ambition and passion the creators of LRG clothing worked to promote a brand that represented
fighting for your destiny. Jonas Bevacqua and Robert Wright merged their dreams and inspirations together to
provide clothing for likeminded individuals. Focusing on bring lifting underground culture, the two created a
brand to represent the driven.
Like many other Hip Hop clothing lines the evolving music industry assists in the cultivation of
this brand, however the creators focus on undergrounds music artists and athletes (focusing on skateboarding)
to express their ideals of being “underground inventive and overground effective.” Along with this
concept of exposing underground hip hop, LRG releases compilation mixtapes as an incentive to its consumers.
In addition to underground artists LRG also creates compilation albums which include well known artists such
as Bun B, TI, and Gucci Mane. Coupled with this aspect of musical inclusion, LRG clothing manifests a brand
dedicated to creative individuals trying to “pay their rent with their passions.”

much of its success per the knowledge of co-creator Richard Wright; he had a background in many companies
such as Quiksilver and Katin allowing the clothing line to be effectively marketed to individuals driven by passion and
talent.

LRG clothing possesses six logos and each holds a distinct representation of the hip hop clothing
brand. These logos can be founds on pieces from various collections released since their inception. Some may not
take time to think about the different logos but they are very unique.
The cycle logo of LRG clothing represents the process of growth which essentially represents the
life cycle. The number 47 represents that age of Jonas’ mother when the brand was created; the
creators have stated that she was a powerful support behind the creation of LRG.

The ever popular LRG tree symbol may be the most
powerful of all. The LRG clothing tree symbol is a direct symbolization of the brands logo “underground
inventive, overground effective. The tree represents the entire LRG brand (overground effective),
birthed from the roots (underground inventive.) The LRG tree symbol represents growth and strength.
Lastly, LRG Genes clothing specializes in a variety of quality denim pieces adorned with a tilted
cursive L for aesthetic appeal. In 2004, Bevacqua and Wright decided to expand their creative
luster to create “Luxurie” their women’s line and also a children’s line.
