Kicks and Chicks was originally created in 2005 but established in 2006.
The idea for the niche concept came from a photo shoot with aspiring model Angie Marino and further
develped with established model Janelle Stein. Since then it has become a global phenomenon
and niche concept that has been utilized ( though un-authorized ) by brands Playboy magazine,
Complex magazine ( who once said our concept was weak ), TITS clothing brand, and many-many others.
Hundreds of aspiring female sneaker heads and urban models have applied to shoot for
Kicks and Chicks since 2006. Keeping a focus on the urban niche, where sneakers culture originated,
opportunity was given to aspiring models nationally, talents flown into the brand photo studio.
Various street wear fashion brands provided wardrobe and accessories, which are listed. Over 40
girls have been photographed and we continue our hunt for fresh faces.
