New details around the much hyped and talked about Nike and Kanye West collaboration have come to light. The news is
all bad for sneaker heads and people styling who wanted them! The Nike Air Yeezy will not be coming
to retail at any time soon and will only be found in Kanye’s Size 12.
Thanks to Sole Collector Magazine we now have the story behind the shoe and some closer images of a few colorways. As
a direct result of Nike CEO, Mark Parker’s wishes to closer bridge the gap between sneakers and artists, Kanye West
was invited to create an original Nike shoe inspired by some of his favorite sneakers.
Kanye chose shoes such as the Air Jordan III and V as well as high fashion, fat tongue, and premium leather
sneakers.
The result of months of work with some of Nike’s best designers from their Innovation Kitchen, the Nike Air Yeezys
came to light when Kanye debuted them during his performance at the Grammy’s and as he continued to rock new colorways
through his Glow in the Dark Tour.
Unfortunately though, it’ll probably be some time before Nike reconsiders releasing these hot
commodity’s, so in the meantime enjoy these new pictures and cross your fingers that these sneakers come out.
NikeAirYeezys.com is soon to petition for the release of the Nike Air Yeezys. The site is hoping to petition
500,000 or more signatures from sneaker heads and the fashion community on-line.
