Foot Locker's newly created "House of Hoops" shoe store released the Jordan VIII Ray Allen and Quentin Richardson player
exclusives this past week in Harlem, NYC. These Retro Air
Jordan VIII 8s release marked the first time a normal shoe retail outlet was created for any Jordan Player Exclusive sneaker
anywhere in the world.
Officially titled the "Sugar Ray" and "Q-Rich" Player exclusives, this shoe will not be reproduced and each
was limited to 24 pair total.
The release was somewhat secretive as it wasn’t broadcasted via any sneaker blogs or web sites. Some on
Kicks and Chicks community discussion board claimed to have known about the release before it went down, due to House of
Hoops employee connects.
All pairs of shoes were said to be sold around 1PM Eastern. There was apparently a size 10 that was left over and
an individual lucked up at that time.
The only e-bay auctioneer found selling the Retro 8s is LAZYASNBUM so far. The sneaker dealer wants $3,999 for
either pair.
Good luck hunting a pair down for yourself and as Jay-Z might say, better talk world money to be heard by anyone with these.
